Brooke is passionate about science and continual learning and applying it to help make a positive difference in people’s lives. A Brockville native, Brooke came to Ottawa to study Nursing in 2003 and has never looked back - she has made Ottawa her forever home with her husband and three children.
After a brief stint in oncology, Brooke has worked as a pediatric intensive care (PICU) nurse at CHEO for over 16 years where she has honed expert-level injection techniques working with the tiniest of patients in the most critical of settings. She continues to work part time at the PICU with the children and medical team she loves so dearly.
Brooke has been an aesthetic nurse injector since 2019. She joined ElevateRx in 2022 after years of collaboration with both Lindsay and Lesley, sharing the same desire to serve others in their goals for selfcare. She loves enhancing natural beauty and subtle uniqueness in her clients, preferring to operate with a “less is more” approach. She’s gentle and truly loves the initial consult part of the process where she gets to know her clients personally to help understand their goals and reasons for seeking treatment.
Her favourite treatments are neuromodulators (“botox”) for both men and women and seeing how it can gently soften/slow the natural aging process or improve comfort from headaches, grinding, jaw clenching for example. She’s personally seen a huge improvement with her own masseter (jaw muscles) issues in this area and would love for others to experience the same! She also enjoys the way fillers can help re-volumize aging areas such as cheeks and lips.
Brooke is also a faculty advisor for 4th-year students for the BSc.N Nursing program at St. Lawrence College, helping them prepare for graduation and their first jobs in the field, ensuring they are given the best opportunities for success as new graduates.
Brooke’s “spare time” is usually spent at hockey rinks with her 3 hockey-loving kids!
